Blue Sea 12V/24V 350A Triple Battery Bank Management Panel

DESCRIPTION

Centralised Marine Power Distribution for Twin Engine Configurations

Managing power across multiple battery banks on a twin-engine vessel requires a dependable, logically organised system. This 12V and 24V DC battery management panel simplifies complex electrical setups by combining battery switching, high-ampere load protection, and dedicated 24-hour circuit protection into a single, cohesive unit. Engineered specifically for twin-engine marine applications, it isolates your engine starting circuits from the house circuit, ensuring your essential navigation and onboard electronics remain unaffected by voltage sags and spikes during engine cranking.

Independent Control and Emergency Cross-Connect

At the core of this panel are two e-Series Dual Circuit Plus Battery Switches (PN 5511e). Unlike standard selector switches that can accidentally drain both banks if left in the wrong position, the Dual Circuit Plus design allows you to switch both the engine and house battery banks simultaneously with a single turn, while keeping the circuits completely isolated. In the event of a depleted starting battery, the switches feature an emergency cross-connect (Combine Batteries) function, allowing you to link the isolated battery banks to get your engines running safely.

  • Twin Engine Design: Tailored to manage two engine starting banks and one dedicated house battery bank.
  • High-Ampere Protection: Includes a 100A C-Series flat rocker circuit breaker for primary main DC load protection, plus blank expansion slots for additional circuit breakers.
  • 24-Hour Circuit Protection: Equipped with four 15A push-button reset-only circuit breakers for constant-power circuits like bilge pumps, alarms, and vessel monitoring.
  • Electronics Safeguard: Isolates the house load from engine cranking draws (up to 1000A for 10 seconds), preventing sensitive chartplotters and radios from resetting.
  • Ignition Protected: Tested and safe for installation aboard petrol-powered (gasoline) and diesel boats, reducing the risk of igniting surrounding flammable vapours.
  • Ready for Automation: Easily integrates with two Automatic Charging Relays (ACRs, sold separately) to fully automate the charging of all three battery banks without manual intervention.
  • Customisable Labelling: Supplied with square format and 24-hour round labels, plus individual status LEDs for clear visual circuit monitoring.

Streamlined Installation and Expansion

Constructed for harsh marine environments, this panel consolidates what would typically be a cluttered array of individual switches, fuse blocks, and breakers into one clean, flush-mounted interface. The inclusion of pre-installed 15A push-button breakers provides immediate connections for critical 24-hour circuits that must remain active even when the main battery switches are turned off. Additionally, built-in expansion slots give marine electricians and boat builders the flexibility to add extra circuit breakers as the vessel's electrical demands grow.

Upgrade Your Vessel's Electrical System

Eliminate the guesswork of managing multiple marine battery banks and protect your onboard electronics from damaging voltage drops. Order your battery bank management panel today to build a safer, more reliable marine power system for your twin-engine boat.
