Blue Sea 12V 15A Per-Circuit Panel 360 8-Position Distribution Panel
Blue Sea 12V 15A Per-Circuit Panel 360 8-Position Distribution Panel
Magnetic Hydraulic Breakers, Status LEDs & Backlit 4205 Labels

DESCRIPTION
Advanced 12V DC Branch-Circuit Protection and Modular Power Distribution
Managing multiple electrical loads in a demanding marine or off-grid vehicle environment requires a dependable, well-organised control centre. The Blue Sea Systems 8-Position Panel 360 Distribution Panel (BS-1225B) is engineered to simplify 12V DC power distribution while providing critical overcurrent protection for up to eight individual branch circuits. Built on the versatile Blue Sea 360 Panel System platform, this unit combines circuit switching and protection into a clean, unified interface suited for boats, caravans, motorhomes, and specialised service vehicles.
Precision Magnetic Hydraulic Circuit Breakers
Unlike standard thermal breakers or basic fuse blocks that can be affected by high ambient temperatures in engine bays or enclosed cabinets, this distribution panel comes pre-installed with eight 15A magnetic hydraulic circuit breakers. This technology ensures precise, trip-free operation and consistent overcurrent protection regardless of external temperature fluctuations. In the event of an electrical fault, the breaker trips immediately and cannot be held closed manually against the fault, significantly reducing the risk of wiring damage or electrical fires in your 12V system.
Key Features and Benefits
- Eight Dedicated 12V DC Positions: Consolidates switching and circuit protection for up to eight branch loads, rated at 15A per circuit.
- Magnetic Hydraulic Protection: Provides reliable, temperature-stable trip performance for sensitive marine and automotive electronics.
- Integrated Amber Status LEDs: Built-in indicator lights offer immediate visual confirmation when a circuit is energised, making operation effortless in low-light conditions.
- Modular 360 Panel Architecture: Designed for seamless integration with other Panel 360 components, allowing for future system expansion and custom layouts.
- Clear Circuit Identification: Supplied with a Blue Sea 4205 Square Format Label Set and illuminated label backlighting for rapid, unmistakable circuit recognition at night.
Engineered for Harsh Marine and Mobile Environments
Substandard switch panels often suffer from corroded terminals, peeling labels, and nuisance tripping when exposed to vibration and moisture. Blue Sea Systems addresses these failure points with marine-grade construction and a thoughtful modular layout. The illuminated square format labels and amber LED status indicators allow skippers and off-grid travellers to monitor system status at a glance without fumbling in the dark.
Because it forms part of the broader Panel 360 ecosystem, this 8-position switch panel fits neatly alongside matching battery management modules, rotary switches, and monitoring gauges. Please note that while the 360 system supports additional instrumentation, voltmeters, ammeters, and digital multimeters are optional extras and are not included with this specific panel.
Ideal Applications
- Marine Vessels: Organising navigation lights, bilge pumps, cabin lighting, and helm electronics on yachts, cruisers, and commercial workboats.
- Caravans and Motorhomes: Centralising 12V distribution for water pumps, diesel heaters, refrigeration, and auxiliary lighting.
- Custom 4WD Canopies and Service Bodies: Providing heavy-duty, vibration-resistant circuit control for work lights, compressors, and communication gear.
Upgrade Your 12V Electrical Control
Eliminate cluttered wiring and unreliable fuse holders with a professional-grade distribution solution. Integrate the Blue Sea 8-Position Panel 360 into your vessel or vehicle build today for streamlined, dependable 12V DC circuit management.
