Blue Sea 120/240VAC 65A Rotary Source Selector Switch, 2-Pole, OFF+
Connects 1 of 2 AC Sources to 1 Circuit - UL Listed - Up to 4mm Panels

DESCRIPTION
Heavy-Duty Manual AC Source Selection for Marine and Off-Grid Systems
Managing multiple alternating current power supplies requires a reliable, fail-safe switching mechanism to protect sensitive onboard or off-grid electronics. The Blue Sea Systems 9093B Rotary AC Source Selector Switch provides a compact, heavy-duty industrial-rated solution for manually routing power. Designed to connect one of two separate 120V AC or 240V AC sources to a single load circuit, this 2-pole switch is engineered for high-demand applications where circuit protection is already provided elsewhere in the distribution system.
Safe Switching Between Shore Power, Generators, and Inverters
In marine vessels, RVs, and specialised off-grid installations, operators frequently need to transition between utility shore power and an onboard generator or inverter. Attempting to manage these transitions with substandard switchgear introduces the risk of accidental back-feeding, phase clashing, and severe equipment damage. This rotary selector switch eliminates ambiguity by providing a positive, break-before-make mechanical action with a dedicated OFF position.
By physically isolating the two incoming AC supplies, it prevents two active power sources from simultaneously feeding the same circuit. Its intuitive one-hand rotary operation allows users to smoothly transition power sources directly from the main control panel with complete confidence.
Industrial-Grade Construction and Ergonomic Design
Built to withstand the rigours of demanding mobile and industrial environments, the switch features a robust internal mechanism housed within a compact footprint. The front faceplate offers clear, high-contrast labelling for immediate visual confirmation of the active power status, whilst the ergonomic rotary control knob ensures effortless manual actuation even in cramped electrical lockers.
- Dual Source Management: Safely switches a single AC circuit between two independent 120V AC or 240V AC power supplies.
- High Current Capacity: Rated for continuous operation up to 65A, making it suitable for substantial AC loads and main distribution feeds.
- 2-Pole Configuration: Simultaneously switches two conductors (such as active and neutral in 240V single-phase setups, or two active lines in split-phase systems) for complete isolation.
- Streamlined Panel Mounting: Engineered for clean integration into custom switchboards and electrical panels up to 4.00mm (0.16 inches) thick.
- Secure Electrical Connections: Equipped with recessed screw terminal blocks to securely house heavy-gauge wiring and reduce the risk of accidental contact at the rear of the panel.
- UL Listed Compliance: Tested and certified to meet strict safety and performance standards for industrial and marine switchgear.
Important Installation and System Integration Notes
This rotary selector is strictly an isolation and source-selection device. It does not contain internal overcurrent or short-circuit protection. To ensure compliance with Australian electrical standards and safe system operation, appropriate circuit breakers or fuses must be installed upstream to protect the supply cables and downstream to protect the load circuits. The 2-pole configuration plus OFF position makes it highly versatile for standard 240V AC single-phase Australian off-grid, caravan, and marine systems where both active and neutral conductors require simultaneous switching.
