Blue Sea 120/240VAC 50A Triple Pole Main Distribution Panel
Blue Sea 120/240VAC 50A Triple Pole Main Distribution Panel
Pre-Installed Neutral/Ground Buses, Backlit Labels & Polarity LED

DESCRIPTION
Heavy-Duty 120V/240V AC Main Power Management for Marine and Off-Grid Systems
Managing high-amperage alternating current in mobile, marine, or remote off-grid environments requires uncompromising safety and precision. The Blue Sea Systems 7372B AC Main Distribution Panel provides a centralised, robust solution for controlling incoming 120V/240V AC shore power, generator inputs, or high-output inverter systems. Engineered with a ganged 50A triple-pole A-Series toggle circuit breaker, this panel simultaneously switches both ungrounded hot legs (or active conductors) along with the neutral conductor. This simultaneous disconnection is vital for marine compliance and electrical safety, isolating the entire AC system during maintenance or fault conditions.
Enhanced Safety and Visual Diagnostics
Unlike standard commercial switchboards that lack vibration resistance and moisture protection, this distribution panel is purpose-built for demanding environments. When connecting to unfamiliar shore power pedestals or auxiliary generators, incorrect wiring can pose severe hazards to onboard appliances and personnel. This unit mitigates that risk with an integrated red reverse-polarity indicating LED, offering an immediate visual warning if active and neutral conductors are transposed.
Additionally, a dedicated green LED provides instant confirmation when AC main power is active, while pre-installed label backlighting ensures effortless circuit identification in low-light cabins, engine rooms, or control lockers. All indicator LEDs and backlighting come factory-installed, significantly reducing wiring complexity during your fit-out.
Key Features and System Benefits
- Simultaneous Triple-Pole Switching: Mechanically linked 50A main breaker disconnects all current-carrying conductors at once, meeting strict marine safety standards for shore power and generator isolation.
- Reverse Polarity Protection: Built-in red warning LED alerts operators to dangerous wiring faults before downstream equipment is compromised.
- Pre-Wired Bus Bars: Supplied with neutral and safety ground buses already installed, streamlining the installation process and ensuring tidy, secure cable terminations.
- Expandable Architecture: Includes spare breaker apertures designed to accommodate an additional double-pole A-Series toggle circuit breaker (additional branch breakers sold separately).
- Low-Light Readability: Factory-installed label backlighting and high-visibility ON/OFF indicator LEDs allow for safe operation during night passages or power outages.
Streamlined Installation and Expandability
For marine electricians and system integrators, time spent behind the dash or inside tight electrical enclosures is costly. Because the Blue Sea 7372B arrives with all neutral and safety ground buses pre-installed, the time required to commission your AC main distribution is drastically reduced. The panel layout also features dedicated knockout positions below the main breaker, allowing you to customise the board with an extra double-pole A-Series toggle breaker to suit your specific load requirements, such as isolating a dedicated water heater or air conditioning unit.
Upgrade Your AC Electrical Safety
Ensure your vessel, specialty vehicle, or off-grid cabin is protected against electrical faults and reverse polarity hazards. Integrate this professional-grade Blue Sea AC distribution panel into your electrical system today for dependable, long-term power control.
