DESCRIPTION
Protect your 120A Anderson connection from dust, grit and moisture
Anderson-style DC connections are often exposed to the harshest conditions—red dirt on outback tracks, salt air near the coast, and general workshop grime. This 120A Anderson plug rubber dust cover helps reduce contamination at the connector face when the plug is not in use, supporting cleaner contact surfaces and more consistent electrical performance over time.
Designed for common 120A Anderson-style connectors, the flexible rubber cap creates a practical barrier against debris that can contribute to poor contact, increased resistance, and intermittent power delivery. It’s a simple accessory that can make a noticeable difference in the reliability of high-current connections used in 4WD touring, caravan and camper trailer power, dual battery systems, marine setups, and portable battery boxes.
Built for real-world Australian conditions
The cover is made from durable rubber suited to frequent handling and outdoor exposure. A retaining ring helps keep the cover seated on the plug body, while the tethered cap design means it stays attached when opened—so it’s ready to close up as soon as you disconnect. This reduces the chance of losing the cap and encourages consistent use, especially when you’re packing down at night or moving between sites.
By keeping the connector cleaner between uses, the cover also helps reduce the need for frequent cleaning and inspection—particularly helpful for installations mounted on drawbars, rear bars, canopies, or other exposed locations.
Where this dust cover is most useful
This dust cover suits applications where your Anderson plug may sit disconnected or exposed for periods of time. It’s commonly used on:
- Caravan and camper trailer Anderson connections (charging and accessory feeds)
- 4WD rear power outlets and portable compressor leads
- Battery boxes, DC-DC charging leads and solar input connections
- Marine and coastal installs where salt spray can accelerate corrosion
- Worksite and workshop equipment exposed to dust and debris
Key features
- Rubber protective cap to help block dust, dirt and splashes when disconnected
- Retaining ring supports a secure, stay-put fit on compatible 120A plugs
- Tethered design helps prevent misplacing the cap during use
- Quick to fit and remove for everyday touring and service work
