Golf Cart Power Systems
Roof solar, 48V lithium batteries, chargers and 48V to 12V converters for golf carts
Golf Cart Power Systems
Everything to power a 48V golf cart in one place: solar for the roof, lithium batteries and chargers, and converters to run 12V accessories.
Golf cart solar
A flexible solar panel on the roof tops up the battery while the cart is parked or out on the course. A roof-sized panel runs at a lower voltage than a 48V battery, so it needs a boost charge controller. The Genasun GVB-8-WP is waterproof (IP68), and Genasun specifies it rather than its standard GVB-8 for golf carts. Shop golf cart solar.
48V lithium batteries and chargers
A 48V LiFePO4 battery is far lighter than a lead-acid pack. When you switch to lithium, replace the charger as well with one that has a lithium charge profile. Shop batteries and chargers.
48V to 12V converters
Lights, USB outlets, horns and radios usually run on 12V. A 48V to 12V DC-DC converter powers them from the main battery, instead of wiring them across one battery of a lead-acid pack, which drains that battery faster than the rest. Shop 12V converters.
