Electrical wiring of systems with batteries, inverters and chargers

Author: Solar 4 RVs

As much as we'd like to write our own, Victron has already produced a high quality free booklet that guides electrical wiring of systems

The most common mistakes we see are regarding parallel battery wiring and cable sizes.  Remember that 2400W is 10A at 240V (normally 2.5mm2) the same power would be 200A at 12V (normally 32mm2) required.

Victron’s 'Wiring Unlimited' booket is all about electrical wiring of systems containing batteries, inverters, chargers and inverter/chargers and assists the reader to understand the basic principles behind certain electrical concepts and how they apply to Victron Energy products and the installation of such products.
