When grid or generator power is disconnected, the integrated 16A transfer switch activates in less than 20 milliseconds. Intelligent PowerControl and PowerAssist Technologies
Managing limited AC sources is a common challenge in marine environments and off-grid setups. The MultiPlus addresses this directly through its advanced PowerControl and PowerAssist functions. PowerControl allows a maximum generator or shore power current to be set. The unit will then prioritise AC loads and use only the surplus energy for battery charging, preventing the external AC source from becoming overloaded.
Taking this a step further, PowerAssist technology actively supplements the capacity of a limited alternate source. Where peak power is often required only for a limited period, the MultiPlus will compensate for insufficient shore or generator power by drawing seamlessly from the 48V battery bank. Once the heavy load reduces, the spare power is redirected back to recharge the batteries.
