Installation Best Practices

For optimal bond strength, apply the tape at temperatures between 0 °C and 35 °C. Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, wax, polish, silicone, and other contaminants. Clean all surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and allow them to dry before applying the tape. Avoid touching the exposed adhesive surface to maintain full adhesive performance.

Apply firm, even pressure across the entire bond area. Pressure-sensitive adhesive must be applied with sufficient pressure to achieve full contact with the surface. The indicated performance level is reached after a bonding period of 24 hours at 23 °C.

Adhesion performance can vary depending on the panel backing material, roof substrate, surface coating, paint condition, texture, cleanliness, age, and exposure to heat, UV, moisture, or chemicals.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store in a clean, dry, well-ventilated area, preferably between 10 °C and 30 °C. When stored under these conditions, shelf life is a minimum of six months.

Application



Temperature: between 0°C and + 35°C during application. Surface must be clean and free from dust and grease, clean all surfaces with iso-propyl alcohol and allow to dry. Avoid touching the tapes exposed adhesive surface in order to keep full adhesive performance. Pressure sensitive adhesive must be applied with a maximum of pressure in order to achieve maximum pressure level. Storage and Shelf Life
