30m Roll of 2B&S (32mm²) Black Single Core Marine (Tinned) Cable
190A max-rated 2B&S (32mm²) black marine tinned copper cable for high-current 12V/24V/48V DC wiring

DESCRIPTION
Marine-Grade Tinned Copper Cable for High-Current DC Systems
When you’re wiring a boat, 4WD, caravan, or off-grid battery bank, voltage drop and corrosion aren’t minor issues—they directly affect performance and reliability. Austech 30m Roll of 2B&S (32mm²) Black Single Core Marine (Tinned) Cable is a heavy-duty marine tinned cable designed for demanding 12V and 24V electrical systems, and also suited to 48V DC applications where the DC voltage rating up to 120V is appropriate. Built with a tinned copper conductor and compliant insulation, it’s engineered to handle high current while maintaining conductivity in harsh marine and coastal environments.
Unlike standard automotive cable, tinned copper helps reduce the risk of corrosion creep and increased resistance over time—especially where salt spray, humidity, and temperature cycling are common. That means more consistent power delivery to critical loads like inverters, winches, DC chargers, battery interconnects and starter circuits, and less troubleshooting later.
Designed for Australian Conditions and Standards
This cable is manufactured to relevant Australian and New Zealand standards for the conductor and insulation, supporting confidence in fit-for-purpose performance. The V90HT insulation is rated for higher temperature operation (up to 90°C), which is particularly useful in engine bays, enclosed compartments, and tight cable runs where heat build-up can be a factor.
Supplied as a 30m continuous roll, it suits new installations and refits where you want fewer joins and a cleaner, more serviceable loom. The single-core design also makes polarity identification straightforward—choose black to match common marine and automotive wiring conventions.
Where This Cable Fits Best
If your system includes high-current DC equipment, cable quality matters. Using an appropriately sized, marine-grade conductor can help reduce:
- Voltage drop across long runs
- Heat build-up caused by undersized or high-resistance conductors
- Corrosion-related faults in coastal and marine installs
Austech 30m Roll of 2B&S (32mm²) Black Single Core Marine (Tinned) Cable is a strong choice for high-current battery, inverter, winch, starter and DC charger wiring where durability, flexibility and stable conductivity are priorities. It is not suitable for mains connection, making it purpose-focused for extra-low voltage AC and DC systems as specified.
Key features
- Tinned copper, multi-strand conductor to support corrosion resistance and flexibility for routing
- V90HT insulation designed for higher-temperature environments and mechanical protection
- High-current capability (rated up to 190A at 30°C, based on 100% duty cycle; typical de-rating factors apply)
- Extra-low voltage rated to AC 50V / DC 120V for suitable DC installations
- 30m continuous roll for fewer joins and cleaner cable management
Build a Wiring System You Can Trust
Whether you’re upgrading battery cables, wiring a high-load accessory, or completing a full marine fit-out, choosing marine-grade tinned cable helps protect your investment in batteries, charging gear and DC appliances. Select 30m Roll of 2B&S (32mm²) Black Single Core Marine (Tinned) Cable for your high-current battery, inverter, winch, starter and DC charger wiring and complete your install with correctly sized lugs, suitable circuit protection, and sound termination practices for a professional result.

Features:
- OFHC (oxygen free high conductivity copper) is employed in audio and industrial electronic units.
- High electric and thermal conductivity. Since OFHC contains oxygen and impurities in very small quantities only, it shows excellent electric conductivity and thermal conductivity (Oxygen and impurities reduce the conductivity)
- Excellent hydrogen enbrittlement resistance (TPC) Tough pitch copper becomes very brittle when it is heated at higher then 600C under a reduction gas atmosphere including hydrogen gas. Since OFHC contains a very low oxygen content only, it does not show any brittleness
