DESCRIPTION
Professional-grade Anderson plug connector for secure DC power connections
The Genuine 50A Blue Anderson Plug Connector with 6AWG Contacts is a genuine Anderson Power Products plug connector designed for reliable, repeatable connections in demanding DC power setups. When you’re wiring for caravan and 4WD power, portable solar charging, battery systems or worksite equipment, connection quality matters—poorly made “Anderson-style” connectors can introduce higher resistance, inconsistent fitment and premature wear. This genuine Anderson connector is built to help reduce those risks, supporting stable current transfer and dependable day-to-day use.
Because the design is genderless, mating is straightforward and reduces the chance of selecting the wrong half during installation. The housing includes clear polarity markings to assist correct wiring, and integrated mounting points to help achieve a tidy, secure fit on brackets, panels and battery boxes—ideal for touring rigs and fixed installs where vibration and regular handling are common.
Built for low resistance, confident connectivity
At the heart of the connector are silver-plated copper contacts (supplied) which are selected to support efficient current flow and help minimise connection losses. This can be particularly valuable in high-draw applications—such as winch power feeds, auxiliary battery links or DC-DC charging—where connection quality directly impacts performance and heat build-up. Use this connector to complete a professional termination on 6AWG (5.01–20.00 mm²) cable, helping deliver a solid electrical interface for 50A DC power feeds such as battery links, winch feeds and portable solar connections.
The impact-resistant polycarbonate housing is designed for practical durability in Australian conditions, whether installed in a canopy, camper trailer, engine bay area (where appropriate), or an external power point location. For added peace of mind in modern builds, the connector is also RoHS compliant.
Ideal for touring, solar and battery systems
Anderson plug connectors are widely used across 12V/24V-style DC ecosystems because they’re easy to connect, easy to disconnect and well suited to modular power distribution. The colour-coded housing on this product helps reduce accidental cross-connection when your setup includes multiple connector types for different circuits or equipment. If your build includes portable solar panels, a caravan battery system, a 4WD auxiliary battery or a power distribution board, this connector is a practical, workshop-ready choice.
Whether you’re upgrading an existing harness or building a new system from scratch, the Genuine 50A Blue Anderson Plug Connector with 6AWG Contacts supports clean cable management and confident connectivity—helping reduce intermittent power issues caused by loose, undersized or mismatched connectors.
