The CZone 3 Module Smart Harness provides an engineered, plug-and-play networking solution for compact digital switching installations. Utilizing the industry-standard NMEA2000 communication protocol, this purpose-built harness completely eliminates the requirement for a traditional, complex network backbone in smaller electrical setups. By consolidating the necessary connections and integrating internal network terminations directly into the cabling, it delivers a significantly simpler, more robust, and cost-effective installation process for marine vessels, caravans, and recreational vehicles.

Designed specifically to bridge core CZone components, the harness seamlessly connects two 6-button CZone Waterproof Keypads directly to a Contact 6 PLUS Module. However, its utility extends beyond dedicated CZone configurations. Because it operates on standard NMEA2000 architecture, the Smart Harness can also be fitted independently to any compatible installation where an isolated, small-scale network comprising up to three devices is required.

Constructed for demanding mobile and marine applications, the harness reduces the common risks associated with multi-piece NMEA2000 backbones, such as voltage drop, moisture ingress, and loose T-connectors. Standard multi-component networks introduce numerous physical connection points, each representing a potential point of failure when subjected to constant vibration on rough roads or open water. By utilizing a unified cable assembly with ruggedised waterproof couplings and secure screw-on threaded terminals, the CZone Smart Harness ensures dependable data transmission and clean electrical distribution in harsh environments.

Important Network Compatibility Note

Because this harness features built-in internal network terminations to function as a standalone backbone, it is strictly designed for isolated three-device systems. This harness is not required when connecting devices to an existing, full-scale NMEA2000 network, and it must not be added as an expansion or drop cable to an already established NMEA2000 backbone.
