Black SPDT (On)-Off-(On) rocker switch with I-O-II markings for 360 panels

Blue Sea SPDT (On)-Off-(On) Rocker Switch for 360 Panels

DESCRIPTION

Momentary Dual-Circuit Control for Blue Sea Systems 360 Panel Modules

Managing complex electrical systems in marine, caravan, and off-grid applications requires reliable, intuitive hardware. This Blue Sea Systems rocker switch provides a dedicated Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) switching mechanism with a momentary (On)-Off-(On) configuration. Engineered specifically for seamless integration into the modular Blue Sea 360 Panel System, it delivers precise circuit control while maintaining a clean, factory-grade aesthetic across your dashboard or control console.

In technical terms, the parenthetical (On) notation signifies a momentary action. The switch remains in the central 'Off' position at rest and only engages either of the two circuits while actively held down by the operator. Once released, the internal spring mechanism automatically returns the actuator to the centre-off position. This specific operational profile is critical for applications that require temporary activation or dual-direction control, reducing the risk of a circuit being accidentally left live and draining auxiliary battery banks.

Key Features and System Benefits

  • Momentary (On)-Off-(On) Action: Spring-loaded return to the centre-off position prevents unintended continuous power draw and provides safe, temporary activation for two distinct circuits.
  • 360 Panel System Integration: Purpose-built to snap directly into designated Blue Sea 360 Panel modules without requiring custom fabrication or adapters.
  • High-Visibility Markings: Features a clear, durable I-O-II legend on the black rocker actuator for immediate visual confirmation of switch states in low-light environments.
  • Rapid Snap-In Installation: Streamlines panel assembly, repairs, and custom system upgrades with secure mechanical retention.

Engineered for Harsh Marine and Mobile Environments

Selecting an inferior, non-standard switch for a specialized modular panel often leads to poor mechanical fitment, premature contact wear, and potential electrical faults. Because marine vessels and touring 4WDs are constantly subjected to vibration, moisture, and temperature fluctuations, every component in your power distribution setup must meet strict durability standards. Using genuine Blue Sea Systems components ensures uniform tactile feedback, consistent actuator alignment, and dependable electrical contact across your entire switchboard.

The clear I-O-II markings on the switch face allow operators to easily distinguish between circuit one, off, and circuit two. This is particularly advantageous when wiring dual-function accessories, checking voltage across two separate battery banks via a single gauge, or momentarily engaging relays and solenoids.

Compatible 360 Panel Modules

This SPDT momentary rocker switch is designed specifically to populate or replace switches within the following Blue Sea 360 Panel modules:

  • Gauge Modules: Ideal for momentarily toggling a single display gauge between two separate senders or battery banks to monitor system vitals without constant power draw.
  • DC Push Button + Switch Modules: Expands the versatility of your DC control panels with momentary two-way switching.
  • DC Battery Management Modules: Provides reliable manual override or momentary control for remote battery switches and dual-sensing circuits.

Upgrade Your 360 Panel Configuration

Whether you are designing a custom marine switchboard from scratch, expanding an existing off-grid caravan electrical canopy, or replacing a worn actuator, choosing the correct switch configuration is vital for system safety. Add this genuine Blue Sea SPDT momentary rocker switch to your build today to ensure seamless compatibility and precise circuit management across your 360 Panel setup.
