Blue Sea 350A ANL Fuse

DESCRIPTION

Heavy-Duty 350A ANL Fuse for High-Current DC Circuit Protection

Engineered for Marine, Off-Grid Solar, and Automotive Battery Banks

The Blue Sea 350A ANL Fuse provides dependable, fast-acting overcurrent protection for high-amperage DC electrical systems. Specifically engineered for integration into compatible ANL fuse blocks, this 350A component acts as a vital safeguard between your primary battery bank and heavy-duty loads such as large power inverters, bow thrusters, windlasses, and high-output alternators. In demanding electrical setups, a sudden short circuit or severe overload can cause catastrophic damage to expensive cabling and appliances. Installing a dedicated Blue Sea Systems fuse reduces the risk of thermal events and equipment failure in 12V, 24V, and 48V DC architectures.

Superior Conductivity and Corrosion Resistance

Standard automotive fuses often suffer from voltage drop and premature oxidation when exposed to moisture, vibration, and salt air. To overcome these challenges, this 350A ANL fuse is constructed with silver-plated connector blades. The silver plating maintains highly conductive contact surfaces while resisting corrosion in harsh marine and coastal environments. Its forked terminal geometry allows for straightforward bolt-down installation, ensuring a tight mechanical and electrical connection that minimises resistance and heat build-up under continuous heavy loads.

Durable Housing with Visual Diagnostics

Troubleshooting a complex off-grid or dual-battery electrical system requires components that are easy to inspect. This fuse incorporates a durable, mica-reinforced body engineered to withstand high operating temperatures and mechanical stress. Built directly into the housing is a clear viewing window that provides an immediate, visible indication of a blown fuse condition. Technicians and system owners can quickly verify the integrity of the fusible link during routine inspections without needing to unbolt the unit or reach for a multimeter.

  • 350A Current Rating: Tailored for protecting high-draw DC circuits, main battery banks, and large inverter feeds.
  • Silver-Plated Blades: Enhances electrical conductivity and provides long-term resistance against marine and atmospheric corrosion.
  • Clear Viewing Window: Allows rapid visual confirmation of the fuse element status for straightforward fault diagnosis.
  • Mica-Reinforced Body: Delivers structural stability and high-temperature endurance under heavy electrical loads.
  • Forked Terminal Design: Facilitates secure, low-resistance bolt-down mounting into standard ANL fuse holders.

Versatile Applications Across Mobile and Off-Grid Power

Whether you are fitting out a touring 4WD, commissioning a commercial marine vessel, or building a standalone solar power system, selecting quality circuit protection is essential for system longevity. This 350A fuse is widely used across Australia in:

  • High-capacity 12V and 24V inverter installations in caravans, motorhomes, and camper trailers
  • Main battery bank protection for AGM, Gel, and Lithium (LiFePO4) storage systems
  • Marine electrical switchboards, protecting heavy-duty winches, thrusters, and charging circuits
  • Industrial mobile service vehicles and off-grid cabin power distribution

Secure Your High-Amperage DC Circuits

Add the Blue Sea 350A ANL Fuse to your system build or spares kit today to maintain safe, compliant, and reliable overcurrent protection across your critical power infrastructure.
