Blue Sea 325A ANL Fuse
Blue Sea 325A ANL Fuse
Silver-Plated Fork Terminals & Clear Window for High-Current DC

DESCRIPTION
Heavy-Duty 325A Overcurrent Protection for High-Amperage DC Systems
Protecting high-draw DC circuits requires components engineered for durability, low electrical resistance, and precision operation. The Blue Sea Systems 325A ANL Fuse provides dependable overcurrent protection for main battery feeds, large DC-to-AC inverters, and high-output alternators. Designed specifically for integration into compatible ANL fuse blocks, this industrial-grade fuse acts as a critical safeguard across 12V, 24V, and 48V electrical architectures.
Whether you are building an off-grid caravan power system, upgrading a 4WD dual-battery setup, or fitting out a commercial marine vessel, reliable circuit protection is essential. When a dead short or severe overload occurs, the calibrated internal fuse link interrupts the current flow at 325A, protecting expensive cabling and connected electronics from thermal damage.
Engineered for Harsh Marine and Automotive Environments
Standard automotive fuses often suffer from voltage drop and premature failure when exposed to coastal air, engine bay heat, or constant road vibration. Blue Sea Systems addresses these challenges with silver-plated connector blades. Silver plating offers superior electrical conductivity and exceptional resistance to corrosion, ensuring minimal heat generation and a stable connection over years of service.
The fuse body features a durable insulating enclosure reinforced with heavy-duty rivets. This robust mechanical construction maintains structural integrity under extreme thermal and physical stress, reducing the risk of housing deformation during high-current fault events.
Key Features and Benefits
- Silver-Plated Connector Blades: Maximises conductivity while resisting oxidation and corrosion in damp, salt-air, or high-humidity environments.
- Slotted Fork Terminals: Allows the fuse to slide directly onto fuse block mounting studs without needing to completely remove the fastening nuts, simplifying replacements in tight electrical cabinets.
- Clear Inspection Window: Provides immediate visual confirmation of a blown fuse element, speeding up fault diagnostics when troubleshooting your power system.
- Reinforced Insulating Body: Riveted enclosure construction ensures safe containment of the internal element during high-amperage circuit interruptions.
- Calibrated 325A Element: Engineered for predictable blow characteristics when protecting heavy-gauge battery and inverter cables.
Why Upgrade from Unbranded Circuit Protection?
Using sub-standard fuses in high-current DC systems introduces significant risks, including nuisance tripping, excessive voltage drop, and poor thermal dissipation that can melt surrounding fuse holders. The precision manufacturing of Blue Sea Systems ensures consistent contact pressure on the terminal studs and accurate amperage tolerances. The slotted fork-style terminals also prevent the frustration of dropping washers and nuts into inaccessible bilges or behind crowded battery banks during routine maintenance.
Ideal Applications
- Inverter Protection: Safeguarding heavy-duty inverter cabling in 12V, 24V, and 48V off-grid and mobile setups.
- Main Battery Bank Feeds: Acting as primary or sub-main circuit protection for AGM and compatible system architectures.
- Marine & Boating Electrics: Protecting bow thrusters, windlasses, and high-output marine charging systems.
- 4WD & Caravan Touring: Securing high-amperage DC-DC chargers, winches, and auxiliary power distribution hubs.
