Blue Sea 30A C-Series Single-Pole Toggle Circuit Breaker
Blue Sea 30A C-Series Single-Pole Toggle Circuit Breaker
Magnetic Hydraulic Overcurrent Protection & Manual Switch - Trip-Free

DESCRIPTION
Reliable Magnetic Hydraulic Circuit Protection for Marine and Off-Grid Systems
The Blue Sea C-Series 30A Single-Pole Toggle Circuit Breaker delivers robust electrical safety by combining manual circuit switching and precise overcurrent protection into one compact unit. Engineered specifically for demanding marine, RV, caravan, and off-grid electrical environments, this panel-mount device simplifies electrical panel layouts by eliminating the need for a separate switch and fuse holder. Its ergonomic white toggle actuator provides clear visual indication of the circuit status and allows for effortless manual operation when isolating equipment for maintenance or storage.
Why Choose a Magnetic Hydraulic Circuit Breaker?
Unlike standard thermal circuit breakers that rely on heat-sensitive bimetallic strips, the C-Series utilises an advanced magnetic hydraulic mechanism. Standard thermal breakers can suffer from nuisance tripping when installed in hot engine bays, enclosed electrical cabinets, or harsh Australian climates where ambient temperatures fluctuate wildly. A magnetic hydraulic breaker only responds to actual current flow through the coil, ensuring consistent, accurate trip performance regardless of surrounding temperature variations.
This technology significantly reduces the risk of unexpected power dropouts to critical equipment while still providing rapid disconnection during genuine overload or short-circuit events. Furthermore, the internal mechanism features a trip-free design. This vital safety feature ensures that the internal contacts cannot be manually held closed during an active fault condition, protecting your wiring harness, batteries, and downstream appliances from severe thermal damage or electrical fire hazards.
Key Features and Benefits
- Dual-Function Design: Combines manual ON/OFF circuit switching with dependable 30A overcurrent protection in a single panel-mount device.
- Magnetic Hydraulic Operation: Unaffected by high ambient temperatures, preventing false trips in warm canopies, cabins, or marine enclosures.
- Trip-Free Safety Mechanism: Internal contacts disengage immediately during a fault and cannot be forced or held in the ON position until the issue is resolved.
- Heavy-Duty Rear Terminals: Equipped with robust rear stud terminals to accommodate secure ring terminal connections for high-vibration environments.
- Secure Panel Mounting: Built with integrated threaded brass inserts for straightforward, durable front-panel installation in custom switchboards and distribution panels.
- Ergonomic White Toggle: High-visibility actuator allows for quick status checks and smooth manual circuit isolation.
Engineered for Harsh Environments
Electrical systems in boats, 4WDs, and off-grid setups are constantly subjected to vibration, moisture, and mechanical stress. Inferior circuit protection components often suffer from loose connections, high voltage drop, or premature mechanical failure. The Blue Sea C-Series is constructed with a durable housing, threaded brass mounting inserts, and heavy-duty terminal studs that maintain tight, low-resistance electrical connections over time.
Whether you are protecting primary distribution feeds, windlasses, high-draw pumps, or auxiliary lighting circuits, this 30A circuit breaker provides the structural integrity and electrical precision required for long-term reliability.
Upgrade Your Electrical Distribution Panel
Ensure your critical wiring and appliances are safeguarded against overloads and short circuits. Add the Blue Sea C-Series 30A Toggle Circuit Breaker to your custom switchboard or marine distribution system for dependable, temperature-stable circuit protection.
