Blue Sea 30A AC C-Series Double-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Blue Sea 30A AC C-Series Double-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker
Combined Switching & Trip-Free Protection with Flush ON Actuator

DESCRIPTION
Integrated Switching and Overcurrent Protection for Demanding Electrical Systems
The Blue Sea C-Series 30A AC Double-Pole Flat Rocker Circuit Breaker provides a streamlined, reliable solution by combining manual circuit switching and automatic overcurrent protection into a single panel-mounted unit. Designed for marine, off-grid, and mobile power architectures, this double-pole breaker simultaneously disconnects both conductors, providing essential isolation and safety for critical AC electrical distribution networks.
Whether you are building a new marine switchboard, upgrading a caravan electrical panel, or protecting heavy-duty onboard equipment, the C-Series delivers consistent, professional-grade performance. By unifying switching and circuit protection, it eliminates the need for separate inline fuse holders and isolation switches, simplifying your wiring layout and reducing potential points of failure.
Engineered to Prevent Accidental Switching and System Faults
In mobile and marine environments, vibration and tight quarters can easily lead to bumped switches and unintended power loss. This C-Series model addresses that risk with a specialised flat rocker actuator that sits completely flush when in the ON position. This low-profile ergonomics design prevents accidental deactivation when brushing past the control panel.
For immediate visual diagnostics, a colour-coded actuator clearly reveals when the breaker is in the OFF position, allowing operators to verify circuit status at a glance. Furthermore, the internal mechanism features a trip-free design. In the event of a fault or overload, the breaker will trip and cannot be manually held closed to bypass the safety mechanism, protecting your wiring and appliances from thermal damage until the fault is properly resolved.
Key Features and Benefits
- Dual-Function Design: Combines manual circuit switching and automatic overcurrent protection in one compact device.
- Double-Pole Configuration: Simultaneously switches and protects two poles, ideal for comprehensive AC main circuit isolation.
- Flush ON Flat Rocker: Sits level in the active position to prevent accidental switching in high-traffic or tight installation areas.
- Clear Visual Status: Colour-coded actuator clearly indicates the OFF position for fast system checks.
- Trip-Free Safety Mechanism: Cannot be forced or held in the ON position during an active overcurrent fault, reducing fire and equipment risks.
- Robust Rear Terminations: Equipped with heavy-duty rear stud terminals designed to maintain secure, low-resistance high-current connections.
- Secure Panel Mounting: Features integrated brass threaded mounting inserts for straightforward, durable front-panel installation.
Versatile Applications for Marine and Off-Grid Power
Standard consumer-grade breakers often struggle with the continuous vibrations and demanding loads found in mobile setups. The Blue Sea C-Series is built with heavy-duty stud terminals and brass inserts to ensure mechanical longevity and stable conductivity. It is specifically suited for high-draw circuits and main distribution protection, including:
- AC inverter output and shore power transfer protection
- High-load marine systems including bow thrusters and windlasses
- Main AC circuit isolation in caravans, motorhomes, and RVs
- Off-grid cabin and industrial control panel distribution
Upgrade Your Circuit Protection Today
Ensure your electrical distribution panel is protected against overloads and accidental disconnection. Add the Blue Sea C-Series 30A Double-Pole Circuit Breaker to your system for dependable, long-term circuit control.
