Blue Sea 175A ANL Fuse
Blue Sea 175A ANL Fuse
Plated Fork Terminals & Clear Viewing Window for DC Circuit Protection

DESCRIPTION
High-Capacity 175A Overcurrent Protection for Marine and Off-Grid DC Systems
The Blue Sea 175A ANL Fuse provides critical overcurrent protection for high-amperage DC circuits in marine, caravan, 4WD, and off-grid solar installations. Engineered to safeguard heavy-duty battery banks, power inverters, and windlasses, this 175A ANL fuse prevents catastrophic wire damage and reduces the risk of electrical fires caused by short circuits or sustained overloads. Designed for seamless integration with standard ANL fuse blocks, it serves as a dependable primary or sub-circuit safety link in demanding 12V, 24V, and 48V electrical architectures.
Engineered for Harsh Environments and Low Resistance
Inferior circuit protection components often suffer from high internal resistance, leading to voltage drop, nuisance tripping, and premature thermal degradation. Blue Sea Systems addresses these challenges by utilising plated copper fork terminals that ensure superior conductivity and resistance to corrosion in damp or coastal environments. The durable, heat-resistant insulating body houses the internal fuse element securely, while a built-in clear viewing window allows for immediate visual confirmation of a blown fuse without disassembling the fuse holder.
- 175A Continuous Rating: Sized specifically to protect medium-to-heavy gauge power cables, high-output alternators, and DC-to-AC inverters.
- Plated Fork Terminals: Delivers low-resistance connections and corrosion protection in harsh marine and mobile environments.
- Clear Inspection Window: Enables rapid visual diagnostics to confirm fuse status at a glance during troubleshooting.
- Heat-Resistant Body: Robust housing protects the internal link and withstands the elevated temperatures common in engine bays and battery compartments.
- Slotted Terminal Design: Forked lugs allow for straightforward installation and replacement on compatible ANL fuse block studs without completely removing the fastening nuts.
Why Upgrade to Blue Sea Circuit Protection?
In high-current DC systems, the integrity of your circuit protection is paramount. Substandard fuses can fail to clear faults reliably or introduce excessive heat into your wiring harness. This Blue Sea ANL fuse is built to strict marine-grade tolerances, ensuring predictable trip characteristics when your system experiences dangerous current spikes. Please note that an compatible ANL fuse block is required for installation and is sold separately.
Ideal Applications for 175A Circuit Protection
Whether you are building a custom lithium battery bank or upgrading your vehicle's auxiliary power system, this 175A fuse is suited for a wide range of heavy-duty DC applications:
- Main battery bank and inverter circuit protection in caravans, motorhomes, and camper trailers
- High-draw marine electronics, bow thrusters, and anchor windlasses on boats and yachts
- High-output alternator charge lines and dual-battery systems in 4WDs and commercial vehicles
- Off-grid solar energy storage systems and high-amperage DC distribution hubs
Secure Your Electrical System Today
Protect your valuable inverters, batteries, and wiring from damaging electrical faults. Add the Blue Sea 175A ANL Fuse to your system configuration for professional-grade DC circuit safety.
