Blue Sea 130A ANL Fuse
Blue Sea 130A ANL Fuse
Silver-Plated Terminals & Clear Inspection Window for DC Protection

DESCRIPTION
High-Current 130A Circuit Protection for Marine, Caravan, and Off-Grid DC Systems
When building or upgrading a high-current DC electrical system, reliable overcurrent protection is critical to safeguarding your wiring and expensive electronics. The Blue Sea 130A ANL Fuse provides dependable, fast-acting circuit protection for demanding 12V, 24V, and 48V power setups. Engineered by Blue Sea Systems, a global leader in marine and mobile electrical components, this ANL fuse is designed to handle heavy loads while minimising voltage drop and heat generation across the connection point.
Whether you are wiring a mid-sized inverter, a high-output DC-DC charger, an alternator charge lead, or main battery bank distribution in a caravan, 4WD, or marine vessel, selecting a high-quality fuse reduces the risk of thermal events caused by short circuits or sustained overloads.
Engineered for Conductivity and Corrosion Resistance
Standard consumer-grade fuses often suffer from poor conductivity and rapid oxidation when exposed to humid, coastal, or high-vibration environments. Over time, this resistance builds up heat, leading to nuisance blows or melted fuse holders. The Blue Sea 130A ANL Fuse overcomes these issues through superior materials and construction.
Featuring silver-plated connector blades, this fuse maintains optimal electrical conductivity and offers exceptional resistance to corrosion. This makes it particularly well-suited for marine battery compartments, boat bilge areas, and off-road camper trailers subject to moisture and salt mist. The robust, heat-resistant insulating body adds structural rigidity and houses a clear central inspection window, allowing you to visually verify the condition of the fusible link at a glance without removing the fuse from its block.
Key Features and Benefits
- 130A Continuous Rating: Precisely calibrated overcurrent protection for heavy-duty DC circuits, inverters, and auxiliary battery systems.
- Silver-Plated Fork Terminals: Delivers superior electrical conductivity and resists corrosion in harsh marine and humid environments.
- Visual Inspection Window: Clear central viewport provides immediate visual confirmation of a blown fuse for rapid troubleshooting.
- Heat-Resistant Insulating Housing: Durable body construction withstands high ambient temperatures in engine bays and enclosed battery boxes.
- Standard ANL Footprint: Designed for seamless integration with Blue Sea Systems ANL fuse blocks and other industry-standard ANL holders.
- Split-Ring Fork Design: Slotted terminal blades allow for straightforward installation and replacement without needing to completely remove the mounting nuts.
Ideal Applications for 130A ANL Protection
A 130A fuse rating bridges the gap between standard blade fuses and massive industrial links, making it a versatile choice for numerous mobile and off-grid power applications:
- Inverter Protection: Ideal for protecting 12V inverters around 1000W to 1200W, or larger 24V and 48V inverter chargers.
- Primary Battery Main Fusing: Serves as main overcurrent protection for AGM or auxiliary dual-battery systems in 4WDs and touring vehicles.
- High-Output Charging Circuits: Protects heavy-gauge cabling running from high-output alternators, multiple solar charge controllers, or large DC-DC chargers.
- Marine Thrusters and Winches: Safeguards high-draw auxiliary equipment on boats and service vehicles.
Secure Your Electrical System Today
Do not compromise the safety of your off-grid or mobile power installation with inferior circuit protection. Pair the Blue Sea 130A ANL Fuse with a compatible ANL fuse block to ensure safe, compliant, and long-lasting performance across your entire DC electrical setup.
