Blue Sea 100A C-Series AC Triple-Pole Raised Rocker Circuit Breaker
Blue Sea 100A C-Series AC Triple-Pole Raised Rocker Circuit Breaker
Simultaneous 3-Circuit Switching, Rear Stud Terminals & Brass Inserts

DESCRIPTION
Heavy-Duty 100A Three-Pole AC Circuit Protection and Switching
The Blue Sea C-Series 100A AC Triple-Pole Raised Rocker Circuit Breaker provides combined overcurrent protection and manual switching for high-amperage alternating current systems. Designed for demanding marine, commercial RV, and off-grid electrical installations, this 100A AC circuit breaker consolidates circuit isolation and fault protection into a single panel-mounted unit. By eliminating the need for a separate switch and fuse block, it saves valuable space on main distribution panels and simplifies complex wiring layouts.
Simultaneous Multi-Pole Isolation
Engineered with a stacked triple-pole configuration, this breaker enables simultaneous switching and protection across three separate conductors or phases. In complex AC power setups, such as multi-phase shore power connections, heavy-duty inverter outputs, or marine generator circuits, isolating all relevant lines at the exact same moment is critical for safety. If an overcurrent event occurs on a single pole, the internal common trip mechanism ensures all three poles disconnect immediately, reducing the risk of equipment damage or live back-feeding.
Ergonomic Operation and Secure Termination
The prominent raised rocker actuator is built for positive, ergonomic manual operation, even in rough conditions or low-light environments. It features clear visual status indicators so operators can verify at a glance whether the circuit is live or isolated. Compared to standard low-cost alternatives that often suffer from loose terminals or mechanical fatigue under high loads, the Blue Sea Systems C-Series is built to withstand harsh environments:
- 100A Current Rating: Engineered to handle heavy AC loads reliably without nuisance tripping.
- Triple-Pole Architecture: Simultaneously switches and protects three poles or phases with a single actuator.
- Heavy-Duty Rear Stud Terminals: Robust threaded studs accommodate large-gauge ring terminals, ensuring low-resistance connections that minimise heat build-up under high current draw.
- Brass-Threaded Mounting Inserts: Integrated front mounting holes provide secure, vibration-resistant installation into electrical distribution panels.
- Clear Visual Indicators: Distinct ON/OFF markings on the raised rocker confirm circuit status immediately.
Reducing Risk in High-Amperage Installations
High-current AC circuits require dependable connection points to prevent voltage drop and thermal hazards. Inferior breakers can degrade under continuous heavy loads or vibrate loose in mobile applications. The rear threaded stud terminals on the BS-7588B allow for proper torque application on heavy cable lugs, maintaining a solid mechanical and electrical bond across rough seas or corrugated roads. Please ensure you verify your specific AC system voltage, phase layout, and interrupt capacity requirements against the technical label before installation.
