Featuring a Double Pole Single Throw (DPST) configuration, this rocker switch allows operators to engage two independent electrical loads or isolate both positive and negative lines with a single actuator press. The momentary OFF-(ON) action ensures the circuits remain active only while the switch is actively held down, automatically returning to the off position upon release. This makes it an essential component for critical applications such as horn activation, windlass control, engine priming, or Dual-Circuit momentary systems in boats, 4WDs, and industrial vehicles.

Engineered for Harsh Environments

Standard automotive switches often fail prematurely when exposed to coastal air, heavy washdowns, or severe off-road corrugations. The Blue Sea Systems Contura 2 series is specifically built to mitigate the risks of electrical failure and corrosion in demanding environments. Constructed to withstand extreme vibration, physical shock, and thermoshock, it maintains reliable contact integrity under constant movement. Furthermore, its robust resistance to moisture and salt spray protects internal contacts from oxidation, while an integrated sealing gasket helps prevent water ingress behind the dashboard or mounting panel.

Ergonomic Design and Seamless Integration

Designed for straightforward installation, this panel-mount rocker switch utilises heavy-duty mounting clips that snap securely into Blue Sea Systems Contura Water Resistant Panels and Contura Switch Mounting Panels. The Contura 2 actuator style features raised tactile bumps across the rocker surface, providing a confident, non-slip grip even when operating with wet or gloved hands. Rear-facing standard quick-connect male terminals facilitate clean, secure electrical wiring for professional installers and DIY enthusiasts alike.

Key Features

Momentary DPST Action: Simultaneously switches two poles with a spring-return OFF-(ON) function for precise temporary circuit activation.

Environmental Durability: Tested for high resistance against vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture, and corrosive salt spray.

Tactile Actuator Grip: Black Contura 2 rocker surface incorporates raised bumps for positive finger traction in wet conditions.

Panel Sealing Protection: Built-in gasket assists in keeping water and dust from penetrating behind the mounting cutout.

Snap-In Mounting: Engineered for direct compatibility with Blue Sea Systems Contura Water Resistant Panels and mounting brackets.

Quick-Connect Wiring: Standard rear male terminals support straightforward and secure electrical terminations.

Upgrade Your Control Panel

Equip your vessel, caravan, or off-grid vehicle with switching hardware designed to endure Australian marine and outback conditions.
